  3. Moore's second solo album finds him taking less of a ghost of the Jesus & Mary Chain approach, though that doesn't mean it's any more particularly original. Knowing that within a few years he had switched over to Revolution 9 on the way to his eventual participation in Black Box Recorder, it's odd to hear his attempt at crisp and clean (style) '60s garage rock rave-ups and classic rock 4/

I have had three copies of this album over the years. i wore them all nonsraviconlayvul.ibepchipsibenreuclearlucamcopotu.co is true rock music. john's guitar playing is amazing. I got the chance to talk to him. He is a great person. He sent me a signed copy of his new album. He is still going strong. i highly recommend this album to everybody.5/5(1).

When he left the Jesus and Mary Chain in , he formed John Moore & The Expressway, releasing two albums.   6. Surprisingly straightforward rock! In the wake of The Jesus & Mary Chain breaking up in John Moore went solo with this cd 'Distortion'. I was expecting much more innovative rock since The Jesus & Mary Chain were such pioneers in their fuzz noise punk rock in the '80s.
